To celebrate Languages Day this year, we invited Ester and Uri back to entertain us with their Spanish music and Flamenco dancing. We watched a demonstration in the hall and enjoyed calling, ‘Ole!’ every time they paused to show we were enjoying it and wanted them to go on. Afterwards, we were lucky enough to have a go at Flamenco dancing ourselves creating sounds with our bodies and clapping (palmas) to guide the music.
Please enjoy looking at the videos of their dancing and us in our workshops!
We were also lucky enough to experience saying, 'Hello' in a number of world languages. We enjoyed speaking to all the adults in the school in various languages and collecting stickers for our passports!
