We love reading a range of texts throughout the year and enjoy our holiday reading challenges. The class who completes the most challenges is rewarded with hot chocolate with marshmallows to enjoy with a book or during our class read time.
Summer 2024 Reading Challenges
We had a super response to our Summer Challenges- Extreme Readers & Book Selfies! Take a look at our pictures in school in the Book Nook or below! You can read ANYWHERE- So we did!!
Our Summer Half-Term Reading Challenge was hugely popular! The children enjoyed decorating a glass jar in the theme of a book. We were blown away with the effort the children put in and their jars looked fantastic.
Huge congratulations to the following children who won the competition for their phase - they bagged themselves a book token each!

Congratulations to Swans & Foxes Classes - our Easter Reading Challenge Winners!
They were lucky enough to be the first classes to enjoy our 'Book Nook'. They enjoyed reading buddy time on the bean bags with a hot chocolate!
