Our children in Ducks and Otters embraced the Year of the Rabbit as the new Chinese Lunar Year began on the 22nd January.
The children took part in a range of activities including using numicon to fit a Chinese dragon in maths; making Chinese lanterns in art and design; dressing up in traditional dress; sampling a range of Chinese dishes (even using chopsticks!!) and the highlight; creating a Chinese Dragon dance in the hall.
The children really enjoyed all of the activities and could tell us what Chinese year they had been born in - the Rooster or the Dog.
新年快乐
