Mother Language Day

We celebrated International Mother Language Day this year by asking our bilingual children to teach us something from their native language. We had classes performing songs in Italian, Armenian, South African and Polish; a poem in Hungarian; counting to 10 in Filipino; colours in Polish and Hungarian; animals in Swahili; and greetings in Polish too. It was a really lovely celebration and we finished the worship with a prayer in Italian.
