BCP Council is consulting on its admission arrangements for 2027/28 from 10 November until 22 December.
As Burton C of E Primary School is a voluntary controlled school, applications are processed using BCP Council’s admission arrangements.
BCP Council are proposing to reduce the Published Admission Number (PAN) at Burton from 45 to 30. Forecasts indicate that from September 2027, no more than 30 places will be required at the school. This reflects a broader trend of fewer families seeking school places in the area due to falling birth rates.
